Business Deals

JAL and China Eastern Airlines will form a major alliance to improve passenger convenience. Taiwan is also making strides in Asia - budding airline Starlux has signed a deal for 17 Airbus jets.

Emirates became the first airline to introduce web virtual reality tech on its digital platform with 3D 360-degree views of its plane interiors. It gives customers a chance to explore the aircraft.

Singapore Airlines has chosen a blockchain-based digital wallet for its loyalty program, KrisFlyer. It's another move in the airline's quest to become the "world's leading digital airline".
