This month it's time to meet the man with the beard. From the land of ABBA, IKEA and Swedish meatballs, here's our Product Designer, Petter Andersson!
Where are you from?
Gävle, Sweden. Home of the world's biggest yule goat and the world's most mediocre coffee.
When did you first join Yieldr?
What's your main role at Yieldr?
What do you love most about working at Yieldr?
The very welcoming and inclusive group of people who work here and who I think are collectively creating a great company culture. Also, the opportunities and support for personal development are fantastic.
What's your favorite Yieldr value and why?
The User Leads. As a designer, I think it matches most with what I really need to adhere to in my work.
What's your biggest professional accomplishment at Yieldr?
Hard to say. We often work very small and iteratively. So I’d say it’s yet to come.
What's your biggest personal accomplishment?
Realizing I needed a change and ultimately going back to school in 2014. And that I’ve never lost a music quiz. Not once.
What's the most interesting (or unusual) job you've had?
I worked in a store getting people's photos printed for a brief period. Some people take really weird photos.
What's something your colleagues don't know about you yet?
They know everything they need to know.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Football, Netflix, sneakers, running, concerts and on some occasions a beer or two.
Which superpower would you love to have?
Teleportation would be pretty cool and practical.
Favorite show on Netflix
Master of None
Favorite place to fly to
Up until I moved here it was Amsterdam. I guess it still is, but for the sake of the question let’s say Copenhagen.
Window seat or aisle seat?
Window seat by the wing. Makes for the best Instagram story.
Favorite quote from a plane-related film
“I feel the need... the need for speed!”
